Saha Mr. Saikat Ghosh …for the petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the husband praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, 4th Court at Barasat, North 24 Parganas, to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit no. 2625 of 2023, expeditiously. The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the issues have already been framed and the date has been fixed for evidence. He further submits that though 2nd September, 2026 was fixed for evidence, the matter was adjourned on that date and 23rd November, 2026 has been fixed for evidence. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to serve notice upon the opposite party. However the learned Advocate-on-Record for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with a server copy of this order to the opposite party forthwith. In the light of the submission made by the learned Advocate for the petitioner, this civil revisional application stands disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, 4th Court at Barasat, to make an endeavour to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No. 2625 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible without grating any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties provide the 2 husband/petitioner is not in default in payment of any alimony pendent lite or maintenance. After disposal of the aforesaid applications, the learned trial judge shall make an endeavour to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit NO. 2625 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible keeping in mind that the suit is pending from the year 2014. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all formalities. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.)
