Mr. Sabyasachi Mukherjee …for the petitioner Mr. Debanik Banerjee Ms. Sulagna Sarkar …for the State respondents 1) Matter is taken up for consideration in terms of order dated 31st July, 2026 when learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 24th August, 2026 of Officer-in- Charge, Titagarh Police Station, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate and same is taken on record. Copy of said communication is made over to learned advocate representing petitioner. 2) It is disclosed in communication dated 24th August, 2026 that in spite of making attempt to recover electronic device where obnoxious photographs of petitioner are allegedly stored, said device is yet to be recovered. 3) Concerned investigating agency is directed to continue with its endeavour to recover said device and prepare necessary seizure list. 4) According to petitioner, other statutory provisions are required to be incorporated in pending criminal 2 prosecution. If petitioner finds that appropriate steps are not being taken by concerned police authorities while investigating Titagarh Police Station Case No. 95 of 2026 dated 24th March, 2026, in that event petitioner shall be at liberty to approach jurisdictional Magistrate in pursuit of remedy. 5) Writ petition stands disposed of. 6) Parties to act on server copy of this order duly downloaded from official website of this Court.
