The petitioner is the husband and the incident happened after about 14 years of marriage. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that throat of the victim was slit down and the body was thrown in the railway track. Learned advocate for the petitioner argues that the victim has committed suicide. However, the petitioner is facing charges under section 103(1) of the BNS and the evidence of P.W.1 is in progress. 2 Having considered the gravity and heinousness of the offence, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting bail to the present petitioner. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected. Accordingly, CRM (M) 1133 of 2026 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
