POONACHA ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed seeking for the following reliefs: " a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing respondent No.2 Regional Passport Officer, Bengaluru, to forthwith renew/re-issue and issue the passport to the petitioners son Sri Naveen Kumar pursuant to his application bearing file No. OM0076052155026, produced at Annexure-D; B) Grant such other or further reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity." 2. The petitioner has made an application for renewal of passport, which is stated to be given on 11.05.2026. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner is gainfully employed at Oman and his application for renewal of passport would be considered in accordance with law. 4. In view of the aforementioned, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the concerned authorities to consider the application of the petitioner for renewal of his passport baring No.OM0076052155026 in accordance with law in any event not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
