ORAL ORDER
Learned High Court Government Pleader brings to the notice of this Court that during the pendency of this petition, the provisions of the Karnataka Control of Organized Crimes Act, 2000 have been invoked in the present case as against the accused including the petitioner herein.
2. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition may be therefore, dismissed as not pressed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the

jurisdictional Court of the Special Judge afresh, seeking regular bail.
3. He also submits that the petitioner is a student aged 20 years and therefore, the Court of Special Judge may be directed to dispose of the bail application of the petitioner expeditiously.
4. The said submission is placed on record.
5. The criminal petition is dismissed as not pressed with liberty as prayed for.
6. All contentions are kept open.
7. It is needless to state that the learned Sessions Judge shall consider the bail application of the petitioner, who is said to be a student and dispose of the same on merits as expeditiously as possible.
