The petitioner is an accused in connection with Barkatha P.S. Case No. 44/2025. It is alleged that the petitioner had initially established physical relationship with the informant on the pretext of marriage and later on, he had resiled from his commitment. However, subsequent thereto, the petitioner managed to convince the informant and had once again established physical relationship with her and after the intervention of the family members, the marriage was solemnized. It has further been alleged that after marriage, the demands were not fulfilled as a result of which, the informant was ousted from her matrimonial house. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 20.08.2025. It has further been submitted that the petitioner has been implicated only on account of the fact that he is the husband of the informant. Learned A.P.P. as well as learned counsel for the informant have opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Neutral Citation 2026:JHHC:7658 J.M.F.C., Hazaribagh in connection with Barkatha P.S.
