ORAL ORDER
The present writ petition is filed seeking for the following reliefs:-
"a. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus, or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, Digitally Signed by CHEPPUDIRA MONNAPPA POONACHA

directing the II Additional District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Bangalore Urban District to take up, hear and dispose of Consumer Complaint No.463/2021 in Annexure-B pending on its file, expeditiously and in accordance with law, in any event within an outer time limit of FOUR WEEKS from the date of receipt of a copy of the order of this Hon'ble Court, without granting unnecessary adjournments to the parties;
b. Direct the commission to report compliance to this Hon'ble Court upon disposal of C.C.No.463/2021
c. Pass such other and further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, including an order as to costs, in the interest of justice and equity". 2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the II Additional District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Bangalore Urban District to hear and dispose of Consumer Complaint No.463/2021 as expeditiously as possible. 3. It is the vehement contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that having regard to the peculiar facts of the present case the matter having been remanded to the Consumer Commission and the same Digitally Signed by CHEPPUDIRA MONNAPPA POONACHA

having not proceeded for a substantial period of time, the relief as sought for in the writ petition is to be granted. 4. In the absence of relevant details as to the number of cases pending before the concerned Court, a time-bound direction cannot be granted. 5. However the present writ petition is disposed of requesting the II Additional District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, to dispose of Consumer Complaint No.463/2021 as expeditiously as possible.
