The Mahatma Gandhi Shramik Theka Sahkari Ltd., Through Its Proprietor, Behind Opium Godown, Retiwali Kethani Pole, Kota, Distt. Kota (Raj.) ----Respondents For Petitioner(s) : Mr. Sunil Kumar Singodiya For Respondent(s) : -- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MUNNURI LAXMAN Order 08/04/2026 1. On the request of learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the present writ petition is heard and taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 2. The present writ petition has been filed challenging the action of the respondents in removing the petitioner from the contractual post of Pharmacist. [2026:RJ-JP:14580] (2 of 2) [CW-6259/2026] 3. The grievance of the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner is that initially, the petitioner was appointed to the sanctioned post on an urgent temporary basis as a Pharmacist, and on account of regular recruitment, the petitioner’s services have been discontinued. It is also his submission that there are several vacancies, in spite of the filling of some of the posts by direct recruitment. 4. His only prayer is that at least the petitioner’s case may be considered as and when the Government decides to fill up such vacant posts by contractual engagement. 5. Considering the aforesaid request of the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to dispose of the present writ petition by directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner along with other similarly situated persons/candidates based on seniority and merit in the vacant posts, if the Government intends to fill up the said posts instead of resorting to new candidates on an urgent temporary basis as Pharmacist. 6. With the said directions, the present writ petition is disposed of. 7. All pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of. (MUNNURI LAXMAN),J 9-PoonamS /-
