Shah … for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is similarly placed as the other accused person who has been granted bail and is in custody for one year three months. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail but is unable to refute the contention that the petitioner is similarly placed as the other accused who has been granted bail. Having considered that the petitioner is similarly placed as that of Sahadeb Mondal who has been granted bail in CRM (M) 891 of 2026, I am inclined to release the 2 petitioner on bail on the same terms and conditions as was imposed upon Sahadeb Mondal in CRM (M) 891 of 2026. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner [Biswajit Mondal @ Biswanath Mondal @ Biswajit] is Allowed. Accordingly, CRM (M) 1815 of 2026 is allowed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta.
