This is an o+ce reference. 2. This Court, vide order dated 02.09.2025 passed in MCRC No. 6937 of 2025, while allowing the bail of the applicant, namely, Karan Kumar had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certi;ed copy of that order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge, (NDPS Act), Mungeli, District- Mungeli KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 (C.G.) vide her request letter dated 13.03.2026 has requested for grant of four months time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that summons issued to the witnesses could not be served in time, due to which their presence before the Court could not be secured. It is further revealed that the statements of seven key witnesses are yet to be recorded. In view of the aforesaid circumstances, it is evident that the trial could not proceed at the expected pace for reasons beyond the control of the prosecution and some additional time is required for securing the presence of the said witnesses and recording their evidence. Thus, it is respectfully submitted that the present request be kindly allowed and four months time be granted for disposal of the case. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed o6 with the aforesaid direction. 7.
