Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been foisted with the criminal case on the allegation that he took money from the complainant for providing government job. Learned advocate further submits that the money has been repaid and the time frame which has been provided in the complaint do not provide any explanation for delay. State has produced the case diary and emphasized on the issue relating to misrepresentation made by the petitioner in money transactions which are reflected in the
2 case diary and the appointment letter which has been referred to. Having considered the same, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the present petitioner. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is Rejected. Accordingly, CRM (A) 2961 of 2026 is dismissed. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
