Affidavit of service filed today is kept on record. 2. The writ petition pertains to an allegation of unauthorized construction purportedly made by the private respondent and a representation being Annexure P-1 to the writ petition dated May 29, 2024 has already been taken care of by the authorities of Bankura Municipality. 3. It appears from the record that pursuant to the said representation, the municipal authorities proceeded to take steps but the proceeding is not yet complete. 4. Learned counsel for the private respondent submits that the private respondent is having a sanction plan with regard to the construction and a civil suit is also pending with regard to the subject property. 5. Be that as it may, since the municipal authorities proceeded to take steps pursuant to the representation being Annexure P-1 to the writ petition, the municipal authorities shall conclude the proceeding upon granting opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the writ petitioner as well as the private respondent with regard to the representation dated May 29, 2024 being Annexure P- 1 to the writ petition within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order and pass a reasoned order thereafter. In case the municipal authorities find that there is unauthorized construction, the municipal authorities shall take appropriate steps as expeditiously as possible according to law. 6. It is made clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter and it will be open to the municipal authorities to consider the aspects placed before the municipal authorities during hearing. 7. Accordingly, WPA 26759 of 2025 is disposed of. 8. There will be no order as to costs. (Sandip Kumar De, J.) 2
