Copy of said communication is made over to learned advocate representing petitioners. 3) It is disclosed in communication dated 28th August, 2026 that police escorted petitioner along with his family members to his residence. It is also disclosed that criminal prosecution being Falta Police Station Case No. 258/26 dated 25th July, 2026 was initiated based on complaint lodged. 2 4) It is submitted by learned advocate representing petitioners that at present petitioners are staying at their residence due to assistance provided by concerned police authorities in terms of order passed by this Court on 5th August, 2026. 5) Concerned police authorities are directed to expedite investigation in connection with Falta Police Station Case No. 258/26 dated 25th July, 2026 and submit report before jurisdictional Magistrate at an early date. 6) Since petitioners are residing at their residence, present writ petition stands disposed of. 7) Concerned police authorities are directed to provide further protection to the petitioners, if occasion so arises. 8) Parties to act on server copy of this order duly downloaded from official website of this Court.
