Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 29.09.2025 in connection with Patan P.S. Case No. 155 of 2025 in S.T. Case No. 33 of 2026, for the alleged offence registered under Sections 140(1), 109, 118(1), 118(2), 303(2) read with section 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita pending in the court of learned Additional Session Judge-I, Daltonganj at Palamau. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He submits that the petitioner may be enlarged on bail. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party-State has opposed the prayer. 5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, this Court finds that there is serious allegation against the petitioner in connection with cutting the throat of the victim, who is also the informant of the case, and the petitioner has been identified by the victim. Considering the serious nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. 6. The instant bail application is accordingly rejected. 2026:JHHC:8221 2 7.
