JUSTICE E.S.INDIRESH ORAL ORDER Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 2. In this writ petition, the petitioner is assailing the order dated 21.11.2023 at Annexure-H passed by the respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner, inter-alia, seeking a direction to respondent No.4 to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. 3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and upon careful consideration of the order at Annexure-H, it is evident that the mutation effected in favour of the petitioner on the basis of the registered sale deed dated 24.09.1982 has been - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010141232024 NC: 2026:KHC:48469 WP No. 8227 of 2024 rightly upheld by respondent No.3-Assistant Commissioner vide order dated 18.05.2016. However, respondent No.2 has erroneously interfered with the order of mutation effected in favour of the petitioner. 4. In view of the same, this Court finds force in the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Accordingly, the following order is passed: ORDER (i) The writ petition is allowed. (ii) The order dated 21.11.2023 at Annexure-H passed by respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner is hereby set aside. - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010141232024 NC: 2026:KHC:48469 WP No. 8227 of 2024 (iii) The order dated 18.05.2016 passed by respondent No.3-Assistant Commissioner in R.A. No.137 of 2014- 15 is hereby confirmed. (iv) Respondent No.4-Tahasildar, is directed to enter the name of the petitioner in the mutation register in terms of the order passed by respondent No.3 vide order dated 18.05.2016 ((Annexure-E).
