It is forthcoming from the writ papers that the temporary grant was made in favour of late Kariyappa, son of late Hanumanthaiah, and Hanumanthaiah, son of late Hanumanthaiah, on 11.04.1942. A perusal of the writ papers further indicates that the names of the predecessors-in-interest of the petitioners, as well as the names of the petitioners, have been continued in the RTC - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010605352026 NC: 2026:KHC:49049 WP No. 27876 of 2026 extracts in respect of the land in question in which the temporary grant has been made. 5. In that view of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, respondents are directed to consider the representations at Annexures-A to C, in terms of Rule 12 of the Karnataka Land Grant Rules, 1969. While considering the said representations, respondents shall also take into consideration the fact that the temporary grant order was made on 11.04.1942, particularly in the light of Rule 12 of the Karnataka Land Grant Rules, 1969, and thereafter take a decision in the matter, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. With this observation, the writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Sd/- (E.S.INDIRESH) JUDGE BKM List No.: 1 Sl No.: 34
