This petition is filed challenging the order of suspension of sentence dated 17.06.2026 in Criminal Appeal No. 207/2026 referred to above which directed the petitioner to deposit 20% of the cheque amount awarded by the Trial Court. 3. It is submitted that initially the petitioner deposited 10%. Now he has deposited balance 10%. Since the 20% was not deposited earlier, the order suspending the sentence granted earlier was vacated. Since it is submitted that, 20% of the amount is deposited, the order suspending the sentence granted earlier is restored. 5. The impugned order dated 27.01.2026 is modified accordingly. 6. The respondent is permitted to withdraw the amount subject to giving an undertaking that in case the petitioner succeeds in the appeal, the respondent will repay the amount with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of the withdrawal till the date of payment. 7.
