NATARAJ ORAL ORDER The petitioners have sought for a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct respondent No.2 to consider their representation dated 14.08.2026 and direct to release compensation of Rs.22,00,000/-. - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010610882026 NC: 2026:KHC:49089 WP No. 28227 of 2026 2. The petitioners contend that they are the owners of land in Sy.No.211 of Obalapura Village, Thyamagondlu Hobli, Nelamangala Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District, measuring 2 acres, which was acquired by the respondent No.1 for the purpose of the respondent No.2 for Multi modal logistics park 3HAMP. The compensation was determined at a sum of Rs.2,37,52,861/-. The petitioner No.1 herein and others filed suit in O.S.No.1027/2023 against the petitioner No.2 for partition of the land in Sy.No.211 and the said suit was settled amicably. As per the terms of settlement, the petitioners were entitled to a sum of Rs.22,00,000/- out of Rs.2,37,52,861/-. The petitioners therefore submitted a representation before the respondent No.2 on 14.08.2026 requesting him to release the compensation of Rs.22,00,000/-. The petitioners contend the same is not considered till date and therefore seeks for a direction to respondent No.2 to consider their representation dated 14.08.2026 and release the compensation. 3. The learned counsel for the respondent No.2 submitted that if the dispute between the petitioners and other family members in O.S.No.1027/2023 is settled, the entitlement of the petitioners for the compensation would be considered in accordance with law. 5. In view of the aforesaid submission, the petition is disposed of, directing the respondent No.2 to consider the request of the petitioners dated 14.08.2026 and if the petitioners are entitled to claim compensation of Rs.22,00,000/-, the same shall be released to the petitioners. This shall be complied within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. Learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent No.1 and Sri.Dildhar Shiralli, learned counsel for respondent No.2 are permitted to file memo of appearance within ten days. Sd/- (R.
