10.09.2026 Serial no. 37 [G.S.Das] Assistant Registrar (Court) CRM (M) 1096 of 2026 In re : An Application for Bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973/under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 in connection with Gazole PS Case No. 610 of 2024 dated 24.07.2024 u/s 310(2)/311/317(3)/317(4)/118(2)/109(1)/111/49/61(2) of the BNS. -And- In the matter of : Anarul Haque … Petitioner(s) Mr. P. K. Datta Mr. Santanu Deb Roy … for the Petitioner(s) Mr. Brajesh Jha, APP Mr. S. Ghosh Ms. Sanjana Jha … for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is similarly placed as the other accused person who has been granted bail in CRM (M) 1019 of 2026. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits Memo of Evidence which reflects certain antecedents of the present petitioner. However, having considered the grounds on which bail was granted to the accused [ Shuvojit Roy] in CRM (M) 1019 of 2026, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail on the same terms and conditions as was imposed on Shuvojit Roy in CRM (M) 1019 of 2026. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner [Anarul Haque] is Allowed. 2 Accordingly, CRM (M) 1096 of 2026 is allowed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Memo of evidence submitted be kept with the record. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
