A memo has been filed today in Court by the learned counsel for the complainant stating as follows: "1. It is submitted that after filing the above Contempt Petition, the Accused has paid to the Complainant during July 2026 (for the period January 2026 to June 2026) and continue to pay the same on month to month basis till date. 2. It is submitted that in so far as arrears of pension is concerned, the Accused No.3 issued the Office Order bearing No.179 dated 13.08.2026 (Signed on 19.08.2026 and received by the Complaint on 08.09.2026) and a true copy of the same is produced herewith as Document No.1. By the said Order, Accused No.3 has accorded sanction for payment of provisional pension and Dearness relief amounting to Rs.73,54,481. 3. It is submitted that, on 08.09.2026, office of the Accounts Section of the IB had called the Complainant to submit a undertaking which the Complainant is submitting today i.e on 11.09.2026. Having regard to the above facts and circumstances, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to dispose of the above Contempt Petition as not pressed for the time being with the liberty to revive the same at a later stage in the event of non compliance of the Office Order bearing No. 179 dated - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010202322026 NC: 2026:KHC:49596-DB CCC No. 349 of 2026 13.08.2026 issued by the Accused No.3, to meet the ends of justice." 3.
