Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and is wife of the injured and is in custody for 331 days, as such she may be released on bail as charge-sheet has already been submitted. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail, draws the attention of the Court to the injury report as well as the statement of the injured before the learned Judicial Magistrate (under Section 183 of the BNSS). Having considered the gruesome manner in which the injury was inflicted and the private organ mutated, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 640 of 2026 is rejected. 2 All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
