Sl.27 08.09.2026 Court No.6 BP C.O. 2973 of 2026
Smt. Monorama Shaw -versus- Sri Bhanu Charan Patra & Anr.
None appears for the petitioner at the time of call. No accommodation has been sought for either. This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the plaintiff praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 1st Court at Paschim Medinipur to dispose of Title Suit No. 145 of 2010 expeditiously. From the ordersheets appended to this application this Court finds that 1st September, 2026 was fixed for hearing of the petition under Order 6 Rule 17 of the Code of Civil Procedure and for filing a written objection. In the event the application under Order 6 Rule 17 of the Code of Civil Procedure is still pending learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 1st Court at Paschim Medinipur is requested to take up the hearing of the application under Order 6 Rule 17 of the Code of Civil Procedure on the next date fixed, if the same is otherwise ready for hearing, and make an endeavour to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. Accordingly C.O. 2973 of 2026 stands disposed of. There shall be, however, no order as to costs.
2 Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
