YOGESH D.NAIK, AGA FOR R1) THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 AND 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA, SEEKING CERTAIN RELIEFS. THIS WRIT PETITION IS LISTED FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, AN ORDER IS MADE AS UNDER: ORAL ORDER Sri. Vinay, counsel for Sri. Ravindra Prasad B., and Sri. Yogesh, Additional Government Advocate for the respondents, appeared in person. 2. Though matter is listed for preliminary hearing, it is finally heard. 3. This petition is filed seeking the following reliefs: - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010609732026 NC: 2026:KHC:49309 WP No. 28225 of 2026 (i) Issue a writ of certiorari to quash the order dated 11.02.2026 passed in dispute No.AR39/DDS/13/2025-26 proceedings pending before the 1st respondent vide Annexure-L and consequently allow the application dated 17.12.2025 filed by the petitioners. (iii) Pass any appropriate writ, order or direction as this Hon'ble Court deem it fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case and allow this writ petition with cost, in the ends of justice and equity. 4. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. The Additional Government Advocate submits that the election was conducted and results were announced. The petitioners questioned the same before the ARCS and sought a - 6 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010609732026 NC: 2026:KHC:49309 WP No. 28225 of 2026 stay of the results. The ARCS has rightly rejected the petitioners' prayer. The petition is devoid of substance and may be dismissed. 5. Heard the arguments and perused the papers with utmost care. 6. The issue is clear: the election for respondent No.3 - Society was conducted and the results announced, with the petitioners challenging the outcome. The request to stay the results cannot be granted because, once announced, results cannot be stayed. The ARCS rightly rejected the stay request, and this Court finds no reason to interfere with the order. Since the petition lacks merit, it is dismissed. Therefore, there is no need to notify the other respondents. On dismissal of the Writ Petition, any interim order stands discharged, and pending interlocutory applications, if any, are disposed of.
