Sen …for the petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the wife praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, 3rd Court at Barasat, North 24 Parganas, to dispose of the Misc. Case No. 161 of 2018 filed by the wife/petitioner under section 36 of the Special Marriage Act, expeditiously. From the order sheet appended to this application, this Court finds that 9th October, 2026 has been fixed for further evidence of the plaintiff’s witness. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to serve notice upon the opposite parties. However the learned Advocate-on-Record for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with a server copy of this order to the opposite party forthwith. In the light of the submission made by the learned Advocate for the petitioner, this civil revisional application stands disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, 3rd Court at Barasat, to make an endeavour to dispose of the Misc.
