JUSTICE ANANT RAMANATH HEGDE ORAL ORDER Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 2. Learned Additional State Public Prosecutor accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.1. 3. Notice to respondent No.2 is dispensed with at the risk of the petitioner. 4. This petition is filed to quash the order dated 04.06.2026 passed in S.C.No.155/2020 by the Sessions Court, Bengaluru. In terms of the said order, the petitioner's application under Section 207 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is rejected. 5. The petitioner had sought for the copy of the CCTV footage, which is said to be part of the charge sheet and which was allegedly not furnished to the petitioner. The Court has observed that appropriate application is not filed even after 5 years of filing the charge sheet and the the Court is not responsible for non-production. 7. The Court is of the view that the finding of the Trial Court is unjustified. The charge sheet materials are to be furnished to the petitioner. 8. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. 9. Respondent No.1-State shall furnish copies of the CCTV footage which are said to be part of the charge sheet, to the petitioner. 10. The impugned order dated 04.06.2026 passed in S.C.No.155/2020 by the Sessions Court, Bengaluru is quashed.
