JUSTICE E.S.INDIRESH ORAL ORDER Learned AGA accepts notice for the respondents. 2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 29.08.2022 at Annexure-J, passed by respondent No.4-Special Land Acquisition Officer (SLAO). 4. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and upon careful consideration of the impugned order, it is evident that an identical order was quashed by this Court in Writ Petition No. - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010543882026 NC: 2026:KHC:48477 WP No. 24818 of 2026 24943/2024, vide order dated 12.09.2024, produced as Annexure-K. 4. In view of the law laid down by this Court in the aforesaid case, the following order is passed: ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed. ii. The order dated 29.08.2024, produced at Annexure-J, passed by respondent No. 4- Special Land Acquisition Officer (SLAO), is hereby set aside. The matter is remitted to the respondent No.4 for reconsideration of the issue afresh, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned. iii. In the meanwhile, the respondents are directed to restore the revenue entries in the - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010543882026 NC: 2026:KHC:48477 WP No. 24818 of 2026 name of the petitioner in respect of the subject land. iv. It is also made clear that it is open to the respondent No.4-SLAO to conduct a spot inspection and survey of the land in question and thereafter take a decision in accordance with law.
