THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE E.S. INDIRESH ORAL ORDER Sri. Shamanth Naik, learned counsel accepts notice for respondents 1 to 4. 2. In this petition, petitioners are challenging the order dated 12th July, 2022 (Annexure-B) passed by the respondent No.3 in Case No.R.A:463/2014-15 and order dated 18th September, 2024 (Annexure-C) passed by the respondent No.2 in Case No.RP.62/2022. 3. Heard Sri. M.T. Jagan Mohan, learned counsel appearing for petitioners; and Sri. Shamanth Naik, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 4. - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010564412026 NC: 2026:KHC:48643 WP NO.25724 OF 2026 4. Sri. M.T. Jagan Mohan, learned counsel appearing for petitioners submitted that the land in question is belonged to the petitioners since the same was being cultivated by the great grandfather of petitioners under the tenancy of the respondent No.5, however, the respondent-Authorities have not considered the said aspect while passing the impugned orders. Accordingly, he sought for interference of this Court. 5. Per contra, Sri. Shamanth Naik, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 4 contended that the petitioners have no locus standi to challenge the impugned orders passed by the respondent-Authorities since, the petitioners or their predecessors have not filed any application in Form No.7. It is also argued by learned Additional Government Advocate that the re-grant order has not been passed in favour of the petitioners since, the land in question is Inam land. Accordingly, he sought for dismissal of the petition. - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010564412026 NC: 2026:KHC:48643 WP NO.25724 OF 2026 6. In the light of the submission made by learned counsel appearing for the parties, on careful perusal of the averments made in the writ petition, the same would indicate that the land in question is an Inam land and no re-grant order has been passed in favour of the petitioners. It is also forthcoming that the land in question has been converted for the purpose of construction of College building. In that view of the matter, I do not find any merit to interfere with the finding recorded by the respondent-Authorities in the impugned orders. Accordingly, Writ petition is dismissed. Sd/- (E.S.
