2026:JHHC:5531 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI Β.Α. Νο. 11888 of 2025 ----- Bipin Kumar Yadav, son of Bali Yadav, resident of village Chajora, P.O Thakur Ganti, P.S. Thakur Ganti, District- Godda, Jharkhand. ... Petitioner(s). -Versus- The State of Jharkhand. …. Opp. Party(s). ----- CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ----- For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Ashish Verma, Advocate. For the State : Mr. Pankaj Kumar, P.P. ----- 03/25.02.2026: This bail application has been filed under Sections 483 & 484 of BNSS. 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as the petitioner is in custody for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 318(4), 338, 336(4), 336(3), 340(2) of BNS, 2023 and under Sections 66(C) and 66(D) of I.T. Act. 2000. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State have also gone through the impugned order. 3. Learned P.P. opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 4. It is alleged that the amount of Maiya Samman Yojna and Abua Awas Yojna was being credited in the accounts of the beneficiaries but the same were being withdrawn from their accounts after providing them mosquito net and after taking their finger print and Aadhar Card by some unknown persons. 5. From perusal of the case diary as well as impugned order, it appears that there is direct and specific allegation against the petitioner and the petitioner has criminal antecedent. 6. Considering the nature of allegations as well as the fact that the petitioner has criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, named above, in connection with Dumka (M) P.S. Case No. 27/2025, pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Dumka, stands rejected. 7. However, the petitioner is at liberty to move bail application afresh after framing of charge. 8. Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed. February 25, 2026 (ANANDA SEN, J.) Anu/CP-3.
