JUSTICE JAYANT BANERJI) No one appears for the complainant. 2. This petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 12.08.2024, passed by the learned Single Judge in Writ Petition No.14555/2023. 3. The respondents in the petition were directed to consider the case of the petitioner lawfully, and allot the petitioner / his mother an alternative site of similar - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010636282025 NC: 2026:KHC:48562-DB CCC No. 1270 of 2025 dimensions anywhere in Bengaluru, within a period of three months. 4. The learned counsel for the accused has filed today an affidavit of Sri.P.Manivannan, presently working as the Commissioner, Bangalore Development Authority (BDA). It is stated in the affidavit that a representation was filed by the complainant on 20.02.2025 seeking allotment of an alternative site in his favour or in favour of his mother, as the original site was lost pursuant to the judgment of this court in Writ Petition Nos.64621- 64625/2016. 5. It is stated that a proposal for allotment of an alternative site was placed before the Alternative Site Allotment Committee, which approved the allotment on 18.11.2025. The proposal was placed before the Commissioner and was approved on 04.08.2026, whereafter it was placed before the Chairman, BDA who approved it on 02.09.2026. A formal letter of allotment - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010636282025 NC: 2026:KHC:48562-DB CCC No. 1270 of 2025 dated 04.09.2026 was issued in favour of Sri.K.S.Raghu, allotting site No.244, Anjanapura Township, 1st Block. An allotment letter has also been dispatched to him. The allotment letter is enclosed with the affidavit, perusal of which reflects that an amount of Rs.40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand) is to be paid as the balance site value to the BDA by the complainant, which has to be paid. 6. In view of the aforesaid, the order of the learned Single Judge in the writ petition stands complied with. The contempt case is consigned.
