1. Affidavit of service filed on behalf of petitioners is taken on record.
2. Learned advocate representing petitioners expresses dissatisfaction with regard to steps taken by the police authorities based on complaint which is at page 25 of writ petition. It is also submitted that though complaint was received by the concerned police authorities in the month of June, 2026 till date no steps have been taken.
3. Learned advocate representing respondent nos. 6 and 7 has submitted that FIR has already been registered and copy of FIR is placed before this court and same is taken on record.

4. State respondents are represented by learned advocate.
5. On perusal of relevant documents submitted on behalf of respondent nos. 6 and 7 it appears that taking note of complaint of the petitioner an FIR was registered being Contai P.S. Case No. 472 of 2026 dated 16th August, 2026. Since FIR has already been registered grievance of the petitioner appears to have been redressed.
6. Writ petition stands disposed of.
7. However, concerned police authorities are directed to take investigation to its logical conclusion by filing report before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
8. Parties to act on server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
