This Court on 24.06.2026 had released the petitioner on grant of interim bail on the ground that the petitioner was wanting to get married to the victim, thereby fulfilling the promise of marriage as the allegation against the petitioner was the offence punishable under Section 69 of the BNS. 3. The petitioner has produced marriage certificate for having married the victim. 4. In that light, I deem it appropriate to quash the proceedings in Crime No.213/2026 qua the petitioner, observing that in the event the petitioner would leave the complainant, the proceedings under Section 69 now quashed, will stand automatically revived.
