Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. This application has been filed under section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraskha Sanhita, 2023, whereby the accused petitioner namely, Shahil Sikdar @ Sahil Sikdar, has prayed for bail in connection with Basistha P.S. Case No. Page No.# 2/2 537/2025 under Section 179/180/310(4) of BNS, 2023. 3. The petitioner is stated to have been detained in custody since 01.07.2026 and he is stated to have completed 91 days as on today. 4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that as per instruction, investigation is still going on, the applicable statutory period is 90 days. 5. In the given circumstances, the petitioner is required to be granted bail. 6. Accordingly, the accused-petitioner, named above, shall be released on bail in connection with Basistha P.S. Case No. 537/2025 under Section 179/180/310(4) of BNS, 2023, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.50,000/- with one suitable surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of learned concerned court [CJM, Kamrup(M)]. 7. The direction for bail is further subject to the following conditions: (a) That the petitioner shall be available for remaining investigation; (b) The petitioner shall available for the trial, if one commences; and (c) That the petitioner shall not hamper or tamper with evidence. 8.
