ORAL ORDER
The I.A.No.4/2025 is filed seeking condonation of delay. In the affidavit, it is stated that the petitioner has been aware of the proceedings since 2023. However, he remained silent till 09.12.2025 and the same is not explained in the application.
2.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that no explanation is forthcoming in the application and that inordinate delay cannot be condoned.
3. Having heard the learned counsel on either side, perused the affidavit and material on record. The Court finds that the petitioner has not provided valid reasons to condone the inordinate delay. The petitioner has not explained why he has not contested the criminal petition, and after learning of the same in 2023, why he has remained silent for more than 2 years. No explanation is forthcoming. In those circumstances, this Court does not find any reason to condone the delay.
