(2) Petitioners were engaged on contract through outsourcing agency in the Forest Department at Almora. According to them, benefit of Equal Pay for Equal Work is not being granted to them, while as per Government Order dated 16.8.2017, they are entitled to such benefit. (3) Learned State Counsel submits that since petitioners have sought writ of mandamus, writ petition may be disposed of directing the petitioners to make a fresh representation and competent authority shall take decision on the same, as per law. (4) Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioners to make fresh representation. If they make representation within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken by the competent authority, as per law, within three months thereafter.
