The said anticipatory bail application was preferred as there was non-bailable offences. It has been pleaded that charge-sheet which has been submitted against the present petitioner is in respect of bailable offences. 2 Having considered the same, without entering into the merits of the case, I am of the opinion that if charge- sheet is filed against the present petitioner under bailable offences, it would be for the learned jurisdictional court to act in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations, CRM (A) 2928 of 2026 is disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta.
