However, respondent nos.6 to 8, 10 to 12 and State respondents are represented by learned advocates. 3. By presenting this writ petition prayer is made for directing concerned police authorities to take steps based on representation dated 29th June, 2026 and investigate matter taking note of such prayer couched in this writ petition. Prayer made on behalf of petitioners for adjournment is refused since no purpose would be sub-served in keeping this writ petition pending. 4. It is submitted by learned advocate representing State respondents that till date no FIR is registered based on complaint lodged by petitioners. 5. If petitioners are aggrieved by inaction on the part of concerned police authorities in taking steps on receipt of complaint, in that event petitioners shall be at liberty to approach jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 175(3) of BNSS 2023 in pursuit of remedy. 6.
