ORAL ORDER (PER: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE JAYANT BANERJI)
This contempt petition is filed alleging non-compliance of the order dated 09.01.2025 passed by the High Court in Writ petition No. 208/2025. The operative part of the order reads as follows:-
"i) The petition is allowed: ii) Respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner, is hereby
directed to forthwith decide the pending revision in RRT/CR.56/08 by taking cognizance of the order passed in RRT(2)(NA)CR:57/2011-12; iii) This exercise shall be accomplished within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of order copy."
2. Today an application IA No.1/2026 is filed seeking exemption from personal appearance. In view of the
submissions made in the said IA, the IA is allowed.

3. A compliance affidavit is also filed by Dr. Selvamani R., presently serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner-VIII in the Office of the Bengaluru District Office of the Deputy Commissioner, K.G. Road, Bengaluru, in which the accused has stated that he has pronounced the order on 28.08.2026 with a direction to the Tahsildar, Yelahanka Taluk, Yelahanka, to pass orders under Section 129(4) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964.
4. We have perused the order passed by the accused.
5. In view of the compliance affidavit, no cause for contempt survives. The contempt case is consigned.
