This writ petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers: -
“(i) Issue a writ, issue an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus/ supervisory direction directing the Court of Learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Laksar, District Haridwar to decide the Petitioner's application for temporary injunction (Paper No 7C2) (Annexure No. 3) in Original Suit No. 163 of 2025, titled as Bijendra Singh v. Shyam Singh and ors., expeditiously and within a time-bound period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. (ii) Issue such other and further order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case, in the interest of justice.” 1

Heard Mr. Akshay Pradhan, learned counsel for the petitioner. He submitted that the said original suit has been filed for perpetual injunction. 3 .
In the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Laksar, District Haridwar is directed to make an endeavor to decide the temporary injunction application, filed in Original Suit No.163 of 2025 expeditiously without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. 4 .
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case. 5 .
