The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Dandai P.S. Case No.94/2025, registered for the offence under Sections 126(2)/115(2)/ 117(2)/85/3(5) of the BNS and Section 3/4 of Witchcraft Practices Act, pending in the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Garhwa. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is happened to be son-in-law of the informant. He further submits that there are general and omnibus allegations of torture and demand of dowry. He next submits that the entire family members have been made accused. He submits that in view of that, anticipatory bail may kindly be granted to the petitioner. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the allegation of torture and threatening are there against the petitioner. 5. Looking into the contents of the FIR, it transpires that there are general and omnibus allegations of demand of dowry against all the family members and it has been pointed out that all the family members have been made ( 2026:JHHC:1888 ) -2- A.B.A. No. 353 of 2026 accused and in that view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks from today and the learned Court shall release the petitioner on such terms and conditions and sureties as the learned Court may deem fit and proper. 6.
