The petitioner, above-named, who is in custody since 22.10.2025 has prayed for regular bail in connection with Chandwa (Latehar) P.S. Case No.233 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 111(4), 111(6), 308(4), 308(6), 61 and 3(5) of BNS, 2023 and under Sections 25(1-B)(a), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that save and except one live cartridge, nothing has been seized from the possession of the petitioner and further, he has no criminal antecedent. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. It is submitted that the allegation involves making extortionist demand. Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
