Sahay, A.P.P. 02/ 27.01.2026: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Dhanbad Mahila P.S. Case No. 38/2021, registered under sections 498(A)/504/506/34 of the I.P.C. and section 3/4 of D.P. Act pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Dhanbad. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner happens to be married sister-in-law of the informant and false allegations have been made of demand of dowry and torture. He further submits that husband of the informant has already been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 1409 of 2022. On these grounds, he submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail. 4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that allegations of demand of dowry and torture are there. 5. Considering that petitioner happens to be married sister-in-law of the informant and husband of the informant has already been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 1409 of 2022 and in that view of the matter, petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within two weeks from today and the learned court shall release the petitioner on terms and ( 2026:JHHC:1884 ) conditions and sureties as learned court deems fit and proper. 6.
