(2) Petitioner was engaged through outsourcing agency to discharge duties as Data Entry Operator in State Tax Department allegedly since 2010. His contractual engagement was discontinued w.e.f 29.2.2024. Thus feeling aggrieved, petitioner has filed this writ petition. Coordinate Bench, vide order dated 22.3.2024, directed the respondents to retain the petitioner as before. Petitioner is reportedly serving as Data Entry Operator on the strength of that interim order. (3) After arguing for a while, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that after serving for nearly 15 years, petitioner is entitled to be considered for regularisation. He submits that this Court in WPSS No. 693 of 2024 has dealt with that aspect and directed the competent authority to take decision on the representation. He submits that this writ petition may also be decided in terms of the judgment rendered in WPSS No. 693 of 2024. (4) Learned State Counsel as well as learned Counsel for the UPNL submitted that they have no objection if the writ petition is decided in terms of the prayer made by learned Counsel for the petitioner. (5) Writ petition is, accordingly, decided in terms of the judgment dated 11.12.2025, rendered in WPSS No. 693 of 2024.
