Without pressing the present writ petition on merits, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it may be clarified that, as per the map placed on record by the plaintiff himself, wherein the plaintiff’s house is shown by a yellow line, the defendant may be permitted to raise construction in a straight line as indicated by the said yellow line, from North to South. 2. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that he has no objection if the construction is raised from North to South strictly in accordance with the line shown in yellow. 3. Considering the same, this Court deems it appropriate to direct that any construction which the defendant wishes to raise shall be carried out from North to South in a straight line as shown [2026:RJ-JP:11572] (2 of 2) [CW-698/2026] by the yellow marking and shall not encroach upon the joint chowk beyond the said yellow line. 4.
