CRWP-10976-2026 This petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No.4 to 16 and not to harass and implicate the petitioners in any false criminal case and also directing the official respondents to decide the YAG DUTT 2026.09.11 14:27 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment. The private respondents are not accepting the said relationship and are extending threats to them. The copies of ‘Aadhaar’ cards (Annexures P-1 and P-2) of petitioners No.1 and 2 have been placed on record. 3. Notice of motion. 4. Mr. Ravinder Singh, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents. 5. Heard. 6. Without commenting upon the legality of the relationship, and further keeping in view the law laid down by a Division Bench in Yash Pal and another Versus State of Haryana and others (CRWP No.4660 of 2021, decided on 09.09.2024), the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 31.08.2026 (Annexure P-3) and take requisite action, if so warranted, as per the facts and circumstances of the matter in accordance with law.
