WRIT PETITION No.13152 of 2026
ORDER: (per Hon’ble Sri Justice Ravi Nath Tilhari) On 22.06.2026, the following order was passed:
“ This petition for Habeas Corpus is filed by the petitioner (said to be the natural mother of nine years old girl) for custody from the 4th respondent, to whom the girl was said to be given in adoption.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the adoption deed is annexed as Ex.P2. He further submits that the girl has been given back to the petitioner. Consequently, he submits that a letter was addressed to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court for listing of the matter for being dismissed as withdrawn.
3. Sri Mohammed Abdul Majeed, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner’s counsel submits that the petition be dismissed as withdrawn.
4. However, before passing any order on the said letter or on the request of the petitioner’s counsel, we consider it appropriate to call for the report from the 3rd respondent on the aforesaid aspects.
5. Sri J.Krishna Praneeth, learned Assistant Government Pleader, attached to the office of the learned Advocate General, appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3, seeks time to obtain instructions in that regard and submit the report as aforesaid on the next date.

6. List the matter on 25.06.2026 under the same caption.”
7. Pursuant to the said order, the respondent Nos.1 to 3 had filed a memo, along with the report of the Station House Officer, Nunna Police Station, N.T.R.District, the adoption agreement dated 03.06.2026 and the statements recorded of the petitioner and the 4th respondent.
8. The petitioner is the natural mother and the 4th respondent, is the adopted mother. The child was given in adoption to the 4th respondent, which is the case of both the parties.
9. In view of some settlement arrived at between the parties, the petitioner does not want to press the writ petition any more.
10. Sri Mohammed Abdul Majeed, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that in view of the settlement arrived at between the natural mother and the adoptive mother, no grievance is left to the petitioner, also with respect to the custody of the child. He, therefore, prays that the writ petition be dismissed.
11. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
