JUSTICE NUPUR BHATI Order 16/03/2026 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had joined as Guest Faculty under the Vidya Sambal Scheme in different Government Colleges for the academic session 2025–26 and was to be replaced only by a person who joins the post of Assistant Professor (Public Administration). However, one post is still lying vacant where the petitioner could be allowed to continue. It is submitted that the respondents are under an obligation not to discontinue the services of the petitioner in such circumstances. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if he is permitted to submit a representation before the respondents. In view of the above, the petitioner is granted liberty to file a representation before respondent No. 2, and respondent No. 2 is [2026:RJ-JP:11044] (2 of 2) [CW-4779/2026] directed to decide the said representation within a period of four weeks, strictly in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the authority concerned shall decide the representation independently. The respondents shall be at liberty to examine the facts and circumstances of the case and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law. (DR.NUPUR BHATI),J ashu /21
