Affidavit of service filed by the petitioners is taken on record. Pursuant to a work order issued by the Block Development Block, Kaliachak I Development Block and Executive Officer, Kaliachak I Panchayat Samiti on 21st August, 2022, the petitioners completed the work and was granted completion certificates by the Block Nodal Officer and Joint Development Officer, Kaliachak I Malda. The Executive Officer recommended the claim of the petitioners to the Officer in charge of sanitation and Additional Executive Officer, Malda Zilla Parishad despite which the bills raised by the petitioners are yet to be cleared. The petitioners seek disbursal the bills amounting to Rs.34,70,000/-. In view of the above, the District Magistrate, Malda, being the 10th respondent herein, is directed to provide the required fund for disbursal of the entire dues of the petitioners to the Block Development Officer, Kaliachak I Development Block, being the 2nd respondent herein, within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. Upon receipt of such fund, the 2nd respondent shall
2 disburse the same in favour of the petitioners within two weeks thereof subject to the petitioners complying with all requisite formalities. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
