The petitioner is an accused in the case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2)/127(2)/115(2)/ 118(1)/117(2)/118(2)/109/333/74/352/351(3)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and has not committed any offence as alleged in the F.I.R. Though it has been alleged by the informant that the petitioner along with co-accused-Sajan Kumar assaulted him by means of sword due to which he got seriously injured, however, the said co-accused has already been granted regular bail today by a Bench of this Court in B.A. No. 990 of 2026. In support of the said submission, learned counsel for the petitioner has tendered a copy of online status of B.A. No. 990 of 2026. It is further submitted that the charge sheet has already been submitted against the petitioner. The petitioner is in 2026:JHHC:7844 2 judicial custody since 25.09.2025. Hence, he may be given the privilege of regular bail. 3. Learned A.P.P. opposes the petitioner’s prayer for regular bail. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering that similarly situated co-accused-Sajan Kumar has already been granted regular bail by a Bench of this Court in B.A. No. 990 of 2026, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Dhanbad in connection with Jorapokhar P.S.
