This petition has been filed for initiating proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, for alleged wilful disobedience and non-compliance of order dated 29.10.2025 (Annexure P-1), passed by the Writ Court in CWP-31253-2025, titled as ‘Sahil Wadhera and others vs. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences and others’, the operative part of which reads thus:- “5. In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to consider and decide the legal notice dated 02.09.2025 (Annexure P-8), served by the petitioners within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order in accordance with law.” 2. A perusal of the petition shows that no averment has been made as to when the certified copy of the aforesaid order was communicated to the respondents. Further, perusal of communication dated 30.10.2025 (Annexure HARISH KUMAR 2026.09.11 19:47 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment COCP-4413-2026 (2) P-2) also does not state therein that a certified copy of the order passed by the Writ Court has been sent therewith. 3. Faced with the above, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to file afresh with better particulars. 4. Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
