It appears that the Assistant Secretary to the Government of West Bengal, the alleged contemnor has issued a letter to the District Magistrate, Nadia on 3rd August, 2026 requesting her to issue appointment letter in favour of the applicant/petitioner after observing due formalities, that is, police verification, medical examination etc. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that the order under contempt has been substantially complied with. In view of the above, contempt application is disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 2 Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
